TrueDepth API and Face Data
The application utilizes Apple's TrueDepth API (ARKit) strictly to calculate the distance between your device and your face, and to monitor head rotation during sessions. We do not collect, store, share, or transmit any facial data, depth maps, or video feeds. All calculations are performed entirely locally on your device in real-time, and the data is immediately discarded.
The philosophy of EMDR Pocket is simple: your mental health and emotions belong to you. We designed this app to be a true “digital sanctuary”, fully private and secure.
1. No collection of personal data The EMDR Pocket app does not collect, store, or transmit any personal, medical, or usage data. We do not know who you are, nor when or how you use the app.
2. No user account required Using the app does not require registration, account creation, or signing in to any third-party service.
3. 100% offline All your settings (speed, session duration) are saved locally, on your device only. The app is designed to work perfectly in airplane mode, with no internet connection.
